Printing FAQs & Support
Ideally, we want those sweet, scalable vector files (.ai, .eps, .svg). We can also work with high-res bitmaps (.jpg, .tiff, .psd) if they are 300 DPI at the actual print size. Please outline your text and expand your strokes so our computers don't throw a tantrum. Sound like a foreign language? Don't panic. Just send us what you have, and we'll evaluate it for free before anyone hits the "print" button.
Yep! But the magic number changes depending on what you're buying. Browse our products page to see the minimums for each specific item. (We promise we aren't just making the numbers up.)
It's a breeze. Buy directly through our products page or smash that "Get Help" button for custom magic. Either way, we'll send you a digital proof. Once you give us the thumbs-up and handle the invoice, we fire up the machines and get to work.
Fast enough to impress you, but realistic enough to ensure we don't accidentally print your logo upside down. Most digital orders are ready in 5-8 business days, or 10-12 business days for most apparel, after you approve your final proof and pay your invoice. We offer rush services — just ask!
Probably not. Needles and thread are amazing, but they aren't magic wands. Embroidery works best for bold, clean logos. If your art has tiny text, distressed textures, or crazy gradients, we'll gently steer you toward digital printing instead.
We highly prefer to supply the blank items ourselves! We know exactly how our inks and threads react to our catalog. If a machine eats one of our shirts, we replace it immediately. If it eats your favorite vintage hoodie, it's a tragedy we'd rather avoid.
That's exactly why we send digital proofs! Your proof is your ultimate safety net. If you approve a design that says "Happy Bithday," you will be the proud owner of some highly custom "Bithday" merchandise. Please check your spelling carefully!
Screens are illuminated by light, and shirts are printed with actual ink and thread, so slight variations happen. Digital printing uses a CMYK ink process to recreate the colors straight from your file, but your phone and computer monitor are basically tiny, glowing lightbulbs, while shirts and stickers are definitely not. Because physical ink absorbs light instead of beaming it directly into your eyeballs, the final print will look fantastic — but it won't be a 100% backlit, neon-perfect match to what you see on screen. If you need a hyper-specific, bet-your-life-on-it color match, let us know before ordering so we can discuss Pantone color matching options.
Absolutely, if you're local! Just choose the pickup option when you check out. We'll send you an alert the second your gear is boxed up and ready. We might even throw in a free high-five on your way out.
We highly prefer good old-fashioned checks or bank drafts (ACH). They keep things simple and keep costs down for everyone! If you prefer the convenience of plastic, we totally accept credit cards too — just keep in mind that a standard processing fee will be added to the invoice to appease the credit card overlords.
You bet. As long as the printed artwork stays exactly the same size and ink color across all the items, you can mix apparel sizes and colors to your heart's content. Our minimum for apparel items is 12 per style.
We do way more than just dress your torso! Whether you need heavy-duty weatherproof stickers to slap on a cooler, custom embroidered patches to sew onto your favorite bag, or even snappy postcards and vehicle wraps, we've got you covered. Basically, if it sits still long enough, we can probably put your design on it.
Wash your apparel inside out on cold, and tumble dry low (or hang dry if you want to be extra gentle). Treat it nicely, and the print will look fresh for a long, long time. Please, whatever you do, don't iron directly over a screen print unless you want a melted mess.
We love chatting, but "a cat wearing a winter beanie and ski goggles" looks different in everyone's head. For custom artwork, we really need visual references, sketches, or digital files sent over email so we can make sure our screens match your vision. Just hit the Get Help button and send them our way.
Time travel is currently outside our budget. However, if you are in a massive hurry, reach out to us directly before ordering. We can occasionally accommodate rush orders for a fee, depending on how jammed our production schedule is that week.
